Steps of flap harvesting which begins with incision and dissection of the flap according to the previously drawn margins (A & B), harvested flap shape and thickness after completion of dissection until the mapped perforator is reached (C), flap is then passed through a tunnel made in the SC tissue and flipped with gentle manipulation to fill the lumpectomy defect while not jeopardizing the vascular supply (D), de-epithelialization of excess skin from flap edges to fit in the defect (E), flap is fixed in the lumpectomy defect by sutures followed by direct closure of donor site (F)
