A 56-year-old man with FG (A) had lesions involving the perianal, perineal, and scrotal regions accompanied with skin necrosis. (B) Drainage was performed intraoperatively through four small incisions made away from the anus. (C) VSD sponges were inserted through the incisions and vacuum suction was maintained postoperatively. The patient was discharged after a single VSD session. (D) Re-examination at 25 days postoperatively showed that the perianal region was in good condition
