Time-associated changes in liver-to-spleen signal intensity ratio (LSR) according to serum bilirubin level. Median LSR in the pre-contrast phase does not differ significantly between groups. Twenty seconds after contrast medium injection, LSR is significantly lower in normal patients than in patients with hyperbilirubinemia. One minute after contrast medium injection, LSR in normal patients is equivalent to that in patients with hyperbilirubinemia. Subsequently, LSR is significantly higher in normal patients than in patients with hyperbilirubinemia, and the difference in LSR gradually increases over time
