From: Effects of combined adjustable Halo-pelvic fixation brace on cervical spine alignment in patients with severe rigid spinal deformity

Fig. 5

A 17-year-old female, with a height of 142 cm and a weight of 42.5 kg, was diagnosed as severe rigid spinal deformity. The operation time was 55 min, intraoperative blood loss was about 100 ml, and the total traction duration was 64 days. After traction, the height was 148 cm and the total traction volume was 7 cm. X-ray examination also showed that the cervical curvature was significantly straightened after Halo-pelvic fixation brace traction, and the cervical spine sagittal alignment was significantly recovered after removal of the fixation brace
