RefluxStop™ Height Categories. The categories of the device placement with a high-up placement important for a successful result. Optimal (1), top of the device placed > 1 time the device size above the upper edge of the LES, Acceptable (2), top of the device placed 0.5–1 time the device size above the upper edge of the LES, and Failure Risk (3), top of the device placed 0–0.5 time the device size above the upper edge of the LES, which has a high risk of failure in the mid- to long-term, and in addition Unacceptable (4), when the position of the RefluxStop™ device is fully below the upper edge of the LES in which case the device cannot function properly, (likely leading to failure immediately or in the short- to mid-term)
