Mean value of T-Hb index at three zones of the gastric tube. T-Hb index values gradually increased from the caudal side to the cranial side. Statistically significant differences in T-Hb index values were found between the stomach angle zone and the anastomotic zone (p < 0.05). A statistically significant difference in T-Hb index was also observed between the anastomotic zone and the stomach tube tip zone (p < 0.05). These results indicate that the progression of congestion toward the tip of the gastrointestinal tract is gradual and objective
